established on 24 January 2025, is a strategic partnership between Pelita
Akademi and Batam Safety Training Centre (BSTC). This collaboration combines
Pelita’s extensive experience in maritime education with BSTC’s expertise in
offshore safety training, offering a comprehensive suite of programs under one
roof.
Pelita Akademi, founded in 1998, is a renowned maritime academy
specializing in STCW and TVET programs. BSTC, established in 2012, is an
OPITO-approved provider focused on offshore safety training, recognized for its
high standards and industry-compliant courses.
PBSTC is strategically located in Ampang Pecah, Kuala Kubu Bharu (KKB), Hulu
Selangor—right in the heart of Peninsular Malaysia. With seamless access via
major highways and just under an hour from Kuala Lumpur, the location offers
the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. Only 35 minutes from Genting
Highlands and surrounded by natural attractions like Chiling
Waterfall, Bukit Kutu, and paragliding sites, our training centre is
